About Me
I am a Year 2 Diploma in Design student at Republic Polytechnic with a passion for art, creativity, and thoughtful design. From a young age, I have always enjoyed hands-on creative work and expressing my ideas through design.
My passion for interior design grew when I had the opportunity to design my own bedroom and work alongside my mother and our interior designer while planning the design of our home. Being involved in the process of selecting layouts, colours, materials, and furniture showed me how design can transform a space and improve the way people live. That experience inspired me to explore interior design as a future career.
Although I am currently specialising in User Experience (UX) Design, I have developed valuable skills in user-centred thinking, problem-solving, visual communication, and design research. I believe these skills complement interior design by helping me create spaces that are both functional and meaningful for the people who use them.
I am always eager to learn, challenge myself, and gain hands-on experience. Through internships and industry opportunities, I hope to continue growing as a designer while building the knowledge and skills needed to pursue a career in interior design.
